Michael Wills has spent almost 40 years in the risk and insurance business. He has been described as an innovative and visionary leader and has a long track record of building and developing niche businesses. Mr. Wills is currently the Vice President of Revau-GroupAssur, a leading Managing General Agency, after recently selling Eagle Underwriting Group Inc., a successful company specializing in Insurance for Things That Move.

Mr. Wills was responsible for the creation, development and profitability of two new specialty insurers, Catlin Canada Inc. and Ironshore Canada Ltd., in Canada, focusing on Marine, Aviation, Property, Casualty, Environmental, Engineering, Construction, Professional and Financial Lines. Prior to that, he spent several years as a Director, Commercial Lines of a major international insurer, Royal & Sun Alliance.

Mr. Wills has served on many boards over the years and is Past Chair, Academic Council for the Insurance Institute of Canada. In 2019, he received the Award of Merit from the Institute. Mr. Wills is a regular presenter and author for many industry groups such as the Canadian Board of Marine Underwriters, Canadian Risk & Insurance Management Society, the Government of Canada, and Canadian Underwriter and Insurance Business publications.
