Mandy Yousif, B.A. (Hons), CFE
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Mandy is the Chief Operating Officer of Specialty Risk & Intelligence Services Inc. (SRIS), overseeing all operational aspects of the company. Mandy has several years of experience conducting investigation, compliance and risk assessment consultation.
Mandy has partnered with the most recognized and reputable firms in North America throughout her career. She has executed multiple domestic and international due diligence investigations focused on corporate C-level officers and on some of the largest corporate entities worldwide. Mandy has played an instrumental role in several M&A transactions for multi-billion-dollar hedge funds and institutional investment firms. Mandy has worked on notable high-profile criminal matters, high-stakes litigation, and complex intellectual property and trademark actions in collaboration with Canada’s top litigators and internationally recognized attorneys. Mandy’s work product has been admitted in trials and hearings and she has also testified in this respect.
Prior to joining SRIS, Mandy served as the Director of Investigation Services at Sedgwick Canada, and prior to that, she was the Managing Director of King International Advisory Group (KIAG), where she co-established and led the intelligence and research division at both Sedgwick and KIAG. During that time, Mandy conducted and managed various investigations in areas related to high-stakes litigation, criminal allegations, due diligence, corporate internal and external investigations, intellectual property and counterfeiting, asset tracing and recovery, cyber and social media research.
Previously, Mandy worked with CKR Global Investigations (now, Xpera – Risk Mitigation & Investigation) as an Investigative Analyst and as a member of the Special Investigation Unit (SIU), providing analytical support in relation to fraudulent claims through complex link analysis techniques. Mandy also led the cyber (social media) research unit, overseeing highly sensitive legal matters and various other disputes.
Mandy holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours with Distinction) in Criminology and Sociology from the University of Western Ontario and a Diploma with High Honours in Public & Private Investigation from Sheridan College. Mandy’s disciplinary focus has been on white-collar crimes.
Mandy is bilingual in English and Arabic and has been a Licensed Private Investigator since 2012. She holds a certificate in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and a certificate in Investigating the Dark Web from Toddington. Mandy is experienced in IBM Security i2 Analyst’s Notebook and has presented link analysis demos on a global terrorist organization, economic espionage activities, and high-profile homicide cases.
Mandy is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and is a Director of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) – Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Chapter.
Mandy is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Honours Bachelor of Crime & Intelligence Analysis Program (PAC) at Seneca College. She is also a member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS), and of the Council of Professional Investigators of Ontario (CPIO).
